Volunteers Around the World at UC Irvine (VAW at UCI) is a newly established chapter and a student-run organization. Our main goal is to travel and volunteer in developing nations in an attempt to improve global health care. Throughout the academic year, we fundraise in order to raise sufficient funds to purchase the appropriate medications for our physicians to administer to the communites of these developing countries.
